I have set foot on the land of this state twice so far. One time I had to spend the whole blistering summer day wandering around Darwin as I missed my Wildlife Park tour being misinformed about the meeting place. The only thing I like to reminisce about this trip is a delicious kangaroo steak, which I had there as my consolation treat. It was the first and the last one for me as shortly after this I decided to quit red meat and seeing these gorgeous creatures in wild was one of the reasons for it. Second visit to the Northern Territory has brought totally opposite experiences as the itinerary was packed with attractions. Apart from what unquestionably needs to be seen in the famous Australian Red Center, I was given a chance to be a part of an outstanding kangaroo sanctuary tour run by a passionate Aussie named Brolga. There are no words to describe his project, or I just don’t have enough space for it here. This is why I attached a link to Brolga’s website. I was also planning to post a link to one of the fantastic BBC documentaries about the place, but sadly they are no longer available on You Tube.
